NTT Docomo launches world's thinnest smartphone in the world


Japanese telecom company NTT Docomo has launched world’s thinnest and lightest smartphone Kyocera KY-01L which is said to be as thin as a credit card. The smartphone has 2.8 inch display. It has single sim and no front or rear camera. The phone weighs only 47 grams and battery capacity is 380 mAH. The phone will be available in markets in November. Kyocera KY-01L cost will be JPY 32000.
There is a built-in browser in Kyocera KY-01L but no app store. Built in apps include a Dialler, Contacts, Messages, Clock, Calculator, Settings, Calendar and Browser. The company claims that the phone will consume no power during standby mode.
