BenjiLock: The smart lock

Everyone needs security of life, assets, money etc and when it comes to security of home or physical assets the first thing that comes to mind is the LOCK.

Locks are used everywhere, ranging from old style metal locks to smart locks. 

Benjilock is a smart lock made by Hampton which comes with fingerprint technology. Key can also be used to unlock it. Benijclock ensures great security and it can store up to 10 fingerprints. The lock is rechargeable and comes with built-in LED light indicator making it easy to operate. 

For greater safety of lock itself it is made dust and water resistant double stainless steel ball lock mechanism makes it resistant to prying. The lithium -ion battery once charged can last up to 6 months with normal use. The Benjilock is available under $70 in markets and online.

NTT Docomo launches world's thinnest smartphone in the world

Japanese telecom company NTT Docomo has launched world’s thinnest and lightest smartphone Kyocera KY-01L which is said to be as thin as a credit card. The smartphone has 2.8 inch display. It has single sim and no front or rear camera. The phone weighs only 47 grams and battery capacity is 380 mAH. The phone will be available in markets in November. Kyocera KY-01L cost will be JPY 32000.

There is a built-in browser in Kyocera KY-01L but no app store. Built in apps include a Dialler, Contacts, Messages, Clock, Calculator, Settings, Calendar and Browser. The company claims that the phone will consume no power during standby mode.
